About
Murphy Studios is a non-profit organization that educates children in grades 3–5 about design history through short, engaging videos led by Murphy, an animated guide who introduces influential designers and their ideas.
Each season explores a different design era, beginning with Mid-Century Modern and a hand-drawn episode on Saul Bass. Every episode includes a companion activity workbook for purchase, and for each book sold, 20 workbooks are donated to classrooms.

Murphy!
When designing Murphy, we wanted to create a universal, simple character that any child could relate to, while also allowing him to easily transform into multiple art styles as he moves through different art eras.
